The beautiful fabrics on this bag will stay looking nice under its vinyl coating. With lots of pockets inside and out you'll have room for everything you need to carry. It measures 12 inches wide (plus the side pockets), 13 inches high and 5 inches deep. Babies produce many different fluids. Fleurville's bags are covered in 'fluid-proof' vinyl. The bags stand up on their own and stay open to allow one hand for the bag, one hand for the baby. The bags are designed to be structurally rigid to meet these two demands. When bags are loaded up they can be difficult to carry, slipping down the shoulder. The MotherShip has a wide shoulder strap to distribute weight as well as a large, soft, non-skid pad so the bag stays put on the shoulder. The shoulder strap's length is specifically designed to allow the bag to be slung over the handles of a stroller or worn 'messenger style'. It's really nice to bring cold formula/beverages with you that stay cold. The MotherShip has an insulated beverage holder/sleeve for just that purpose. Changing pads are great but often get in the way. Fleurville built a sleeve for the changing pad to keep it out of the way. Good bags have pockets, great bags have lots of pockets. Outside are three pockets for cell phone and sunglasses. Inside, are small, medium and large pockets for various little necessities. Car keys always find their way to the bottom of a bag. This bag has a carabiner at the top of the bag to use as a key clip or to dangle a toy while changing the baby.
